Dear Dom,
Yesterday was week 37 since we last saw you. It was also my Dad's birthday (5-June). I hope you had a chance to meet my Dad and got to know him.
Last Friday, mummy and I were walking on Roosevelt St - where Sammy lives. We were passing by George the cat and he came to us. I hope that was a sign from you that you were with us and maybe walking with us. That was a very nice surprise. I don't think George ever came to us - even when you were here with us.
We went to our house in the desert yesterday to clean the house. There were vacationers who use our house last weekend for the Memorial Day weekend. Mummy and I stayed over night and so we got back home in Huntington Beach today. We also used our pool and went swimming. I remember the happy days when we would go over to our house in the desert and enjoy it. You'd be so excited to get there and you can't wait to get in the pool. We'd play tower of terror (which means throwing you up high in the pool) and Go Coaster (making waves and splashes while you ride the boogey board as I lift it up in the air and let go a bit and do it over and over again). I remembered how great a swimmer you are. You'd go to the deep end and swim without fear. You knew how to do your breathing and you enjoyed the water.
Our family will never be the same without you. You had so much to offer. You brought so much joy and happiness. We miss you so much, Dom.
I love you Dom,
Dad
