Dear Dom,
It was 38 weeks yesterday since you passed away. It never gets easier for us. Our family is still grieving over your death and we miss you more than ever.
Mummy and I try to do things for David. Like yesterday, we took Dave to The Block to have lunch and bought him some clothes for his birthday. Then we saw movies to pass time.
We will never forget you, Dom. Mummy and I feel bad that you're not with us when we leave the house. It was always an adventure for you to go someplace - eat lunch or dinner at a restaurant, look at dogs or kitties in a pet shop, shopping at Crystal Court in South Coast Plaza, or whatever. You enjoyed going places and you showed us that you appreciated whatever we did.
The next few months will be very hard for us. Birthdays are coming - including yours in August; your death anniversary in September. Summer without you will be painful. We would have planned something by now if you were here with us and you'd be so excited. Remember last year, we rented a minivan (VW Routan) and drove to the Marriott in Phoenix (Sponge Bob themed Marriott). We had so much fun at the Lazy River everyday. We also went to Knott's Water Park in Palm Springs when we stayed at our house in the desert. I wish it was still last year when you were alive. There was so much to look forward to.
